Order the steak and cheese platter. It is the dish the reviews keep coming back to – 13 tagged mentions on Google – and at 26 florins (about $14.50) it arrives as a genuine feed: meat and melted cheese over fries, rice and mac and cheese or salad. Ask for the garlic sauce; six reviewers name it. The cheapest real meal is any 13.50 pan, about $7.50, and the oyster soup at 13.50 is the local order. If seafood is the mood, the garlic shrimp platter at 35.50 is the ceiling of the whole board.
Go at night. Mon–Sat the truck cooks until 3 am – one of very few real kitchens on the island still open after the bars wind down – and its Google popular-times chart peaks late in the evening. There is no dining room, just benches, no delivery, and nothing on Sunday. Tanki Leendert is an inland neighbourhood, so from Palm or Eagle Beach you will want a rental car or a taxi; the reward is local pricing, not strip pricing.
