Manchebo Beach Aruba: Complete Guide
Manchebo Beach is the narrowest beach on Aruba but arguably its most peaceful. Nestled between the larger Eagle Beach and the developed hotel zone, Manchebo feels a world apart. Motorized water sports are restricted here, making it a sanctuary of calm.
No jet skis, no banana boats, no beach vendors. Just sun, sand, and the sound of waves.

Some of Aruba’s best boutique hotels and spas sit directly on Manchebo Beach.
The absence of motorized traffic means the water is always clear and undisturbed.
Manchebo faces due west for spectacular sunset views over the Caribbean.
Where to Stay
Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa is the most famous hotel here, known for its yoga retreats and wellness programmes. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort — Aruba’s only adults-only eco-resort — is also on this stretch.

Plan Your Visit to Aruba
Aruba is one of the most popular Caribbean destinations. In addition, the island offers year-round sunshine, calm waters, and a wide range of activities. Whether you are visiting for the beaches, the food, or the nightlife, Aruba has something for everyone. Furthermore, the island is located outside the hurricane belt, making it a safe choice throughout the year.
Getting Around Aruba
Renting a car is the best way to explore Aruba independently. However, taxis and buses are also widely available. Moreover, many attractions and restaurants are accessible on foot from the main hotel areas. As a result, getting around the island is straightforward and affordable for most visitors.

Frequently asked questions
Are Aruba beaches free to use?
Yes. All beaches in Aruba are public up to the high-water mark, including the stretches fronting the big resorts. You can walk on and lay a towel down anywhere, though loungers and palapas belonging to a hotel are for its guests.
Which side of the island has the calm water?
The western and southern coasts. That is where Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, Manchebo and Baby Beach sit, and where the water stays flat enough for swimming and snorkelling. The north and east coasts face open Atlantic swell and are not safe for casual swimming.
Do I need to book a beach chair?
Not on the public stretches. On Palm Beach the hotel palapas fill early and are reserved for guests, so arrive before mid-morning if you want shade or bring your own.
Is the water warm year-round?
Yes, sitting around 27 to 28°C, so no wetsuit is needed at any time of year.
