Jolly Pirates Sailing Cruises & Snorkeling Aruba — tours and excursions

Jolly Pirates is one of Aruba’s most established sailing operators, running snorkel and sunset cruises out of Palm Beach. The fleet of authentic-looking pirate-themed catamarans is hard to miss along the coastline. They offer 4 distinct cruise experiences: the morning Sail, Snorkel, Swim and Swing, the Afternoon Snorkel Adventure, the Jolly Pirate Sunset Sail, and the newer Grub and Grog cruise. Below is the full lineup, with live dates and pricing pulled directly from their own booking system.

Which Jolly Pirates Cruise Should You Book?

Pick the morning snorkel if you want maximum value and three snorkel stops including the Antilla shipwreck. It’s the most popular option and runs about 4 hours.

Pick the afternoon cruise if you’re not a morning person. Same snorkel route, slightly shorter, often less crowded.

Pick the sunset cruise for the open bar, the music, and the famous rope swing. This is the party boat — book it if you want fun over snorkeling.

Pick Grub and Grog if you want a shorter sail built around food and drinks rather than a snorkel stop. It is their newest cruise and runs about 3 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do Jolly Pirates cruises depart from?

All Jolly Pirates cruises depart from the Moomba Beach pier on Palm Beach, between the Marriott Surf Club and Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort. Look for the white pirate-style catamarans.

Are kids allowed?

Yes — all Jolly Pirates cruises are family-friendly. Kids generally need to be at least 5 years old for the rope swing on the sunset cruise. The morning and afternoon snorkel cruises are popular with families.

Is hotel pickup included?

No — Jolly Pirates does not include hotel transfers. The departure point is walking distance from most Palm Beach hotels. If you’re staying further away, plan to take a taxi or rental car.

What’s the cancellation policy?

You book straight with Jolly Pirates, so their own cancellation terms apply. The exact policy for the cruise and date you choose is shown in the booking calendar above, before you pay.
