Aruba Aqua Lounge with a white canopy floating on turquoise water, guests swimming around it

An Aruba Aqua Lounge is a private, shaded platform that floats in shallow water just off the beach. You and your group get the whole lounge for half a day or a full day. So you can swim, float, chat and soak up the sun without fighting for a spot on the sand. Also, you bring your own food, drinks and music, and the lounge team takes care of the setup.

What is an Aruba Aqua Lounge?

Think of it as your own little island for the day. First, the lounge team sets up the lounge just off your chosen beach. Then you wade or swim out, climb aboard and settle in under the canopy. In addition, a cooler with ice is waiting for your drinks, so everything stays cold while you relax.

Because the lounge is private, it works well for birthdays, bachelorette groups, family days and anyone who simply wants space. However, it is not a boat. The lounge stays in one spot near the shore, so you can head back to the beach whenever you like.

Choose your Aruba Aqua Lounge

There are two lounges to choose from right now. Prices are flat per lounge, so the cost is the same whether two or eight friends come along.

Pick your beach: 9 lounge locations

Surfside Beach and Reflexions Beach are the established lounge locations. You can also ask for one of seven other spots around the island. For those, the lounge team first confirms the spot and the setup, and only then do we take your reservation fee. As a result, you never pay for a spot that has not been confirmed. Aruba Aqua Lounge: your questions answered

How much does an Aruba Aqua Lounge cost?

The Revel Lounge is $200 for a half day and $300 for a full day. The Bonanza Lounge is $300 for a half day and $400 for a full day. Each price covers the whole lounge, not one person.

How much do I pay to reserve?

You pay 15% of the lounge price online as a reservation fee. For example, a $200 half day means $30 today and $170 to the lounge team on the day.

How long does it last?

A half day is four hours, either 9 AM to 1 PM or 1 PM to 5 PM. A full day runs from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Which beaches can I choose?

Surfside Beach and Reflexions Beach are the established locations. You can also request Divi Beach, Eagle Beach, Palm Beach, Boca Catalina, Arashi Beach, a private villa in Savaneta or the Zeerovers area. Those seven need a quick confirmation first.

Why is my booking a request?

Some bookings need the lounge team to confirm the date and setup first. In that case nothing is charged. Instead, we email you a secure payment link once the lounge team confirms.

Can I bring food and drinks?

Yes. In fact, you are expected to bring your own, because food and drinks are not included. Just leave glass at home.

What is the cancellation policy?

The lounge operator states that bookings are non-refundable and all sales are final, so please check your dates before you book. If you need to reschedule, ask as early as possible. If the lounge team cannot host your booking, we refund your reservation fee in full.
