About The Bread Basket
The Bread Basket is an open-air wooden shack right on the Palm Beach boardwalk — teal shutters, flower boxes, chalkboard specials and a counter with stool seating that looks straight over the sand. You order at the cashier, then eat at the counter, carry it onto the beach or take it to go. Doors open at 7:30 am every day of the week and close at 5:00 pm, so this is a breakfast-and-lunch stop, not a dinner spot. The kitchen leans Dutch-Caribbean deli: breakfast sandwiches and an uitsmijter in the morning, salads on a roll, wraps and burgers through the afternoon — with a gluten-free wrap on the sandwich list and more gluten-free options on request.
