About New Wei Taai Restaurant
New Wei Taai Restaurant is a standalone building with a green neon “Chinese–Restaurant” sign that is the landmark after dark. Inside it is the proper Cantonese format: round family tables, a bilingual menu printed in both US dollars and Aruban florins, and a roast-meat kitchen — barbecue and roast duck are what Google reviewers mention more than anything else. It serves lunch and dinner with an afternoon break on weekdays, and takeaway orders go by phone; there is no website.

Our verdict
Order the roast duck. The menu flags it as the best seller, it is the dish Google reviewers name most, and at $21.20 for half a duck it costs less than most single entrées on the Palm Beach strip — the $15 half roast chicken makes the same point even harder. Portions run big (fifteen reviewers say so) and “affordable” is its own review topic, which is why the round tables fill with families sharing four or five dishes.
Two timing notes. On weekdays the kitchen breaks between 3:30 and 5pm, so an early dinner means waiting for the second service — weekends run straight through, 11am to 11pm. And crispy roast pork is a Sunday-only dish, worth planning a visit around. If you are weighing the Chinese options around Noord, Yami Yami leans Dutch–Indonesian with a strong sushi side and New China Town is the takeaway-style standby — New Wei Taai is the one to pick when roast meats and a proper sit-down Cantonese dinner are the point.
