Our verdict
Go for the room, not for a quiet dinner. New China Town is a San Nicolas bar with a kitchen: pool table, music, locals at the counter, and food that reviewers rate for value rather than finesse. It is open until 1:00 am six nights a week, which makes it one of the few places in town serving late.
