Smoothie bowls and sourdough toasts
Every smoothie bowl is $12.50: Vibrant Blueberry (blueberry-banana with Greek yogurt, organic granola, banana, blueberries and shredded coconut), Raspberry Lemonade (with mango or kiwi and lemon zest), Mango Spinach, Sweet and Spicy Golden (pineapple and banana) and Salted Cinnamon (banana-cinnamon with strawberries and chocolate shavings); add-ons like peanut butter, almond butter, cashews, chia, flax or cacao nibs run $1 to $2. The sourdough toasts are also $12.50 each — two slices of toasted T2PAN sourdough as Loaded Avocado Toast with mixed seeds, Tomato and Basil Hummus with balsamic glaze, or Mixed Sourdough, one slice of each. An egg on top adds $2 to $2.50.
Waffles, french toast and fluffy dough darlings
The plant-based waffles — the dish reviewers name more than anything else — are all $12.50 in five builds: I’m Coconuts About You (coconut yogurt, shredded coconut and berries), You Make Me Bananas (banana, peanut butter and chia), Choc Full of Love, I Love You Berry Much and White Choc. Sensation, with whipping cream, extra fruit or an ice-cream scoop at $1 to $2.50. French toast is custard-soaked brioche: The Classic at $9.50 and The Ultimate Passion, finished with passion fruit cream, at $11. The “fluffy dough darlings” are the house signature at $8.50 — fried, filled bread bites in strawberry and cream cheese, chocolate, or banana and white chocolate versions.
Bagels, croissants and the rest
The Bagel Burger is the priciest plate on the card at $15 — a beef patty with cheese and potato fries, with a vegan soy-patty version offered. The Breakfast Bagel (crispy bacon, fried egg, cheddar, sriracha mayo) and the Complete Bagel (omelette, ham, cheese, honey mustard) are $11.50 each, and the Sweet Breakfast bagel with cream cheese, raisins, walnuts and honey is $8.50. Croissants run from a $4 plain through $5.50 white-almond or ham-and-cheese to the $9.50 Complete Croissant with omelette. Drinks: coffee, vegan smoothies and a full bar
Espresso, filter coffee and americano are $2.50, cappuccino and latte $3.75, and flat white, latte macchiato and cortadito $4 — oat or almond milk adds $1.50. Vegan smoothies built on soya milk are $7.50, lemonade is $5.50 (flavored versions — coco, guava, strawberry, mango, blackberry or ginger — $6), fresh mint tea $4.50 and a ginger shot $3.75. Unusually for a breakfast cafe there is a full bar: cocktails run $12.50 to $14.50 (a Painkiller, or the house Dushi Delicious with tequila and fresh passion fruit, at $13.50), every wine on the card is $8.50 a glass, and local beers are $4.50 with a bucket of six Balashi at $22.50.
