About Water’s Edge

Water’s Edge sits directly on world-famous Eagle Beach — consistently ranked one of the world’s top beaches — at the Costa Linda Beach Resort property. The setup is unusual and beautiful: an elegant air-conditioned dining room with crisp linens for fine dining, plus palapa tables with your toes in the sand for a more casual experience. Both come with the same Caribbean Sea views and the same kitchen.

The owner Roy and manager Jeandray Ras are widely praised in recent reviews for hospitality. The restaurant runs on Aruba “Caribbean chic” — relaxed but professional, the kind of place you can come for breakfast in flip-flops and dinner in business casual. Live music every single day with a different musician for each night of the week — a unique Aruba beachfront feature.

What guests are saying

Reviews are overwhelmingly positive — Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice winner. Common themes: excellent service from named staff (manager Jeandray Ras gets repeated mentions for “outstanding hospitality”), live music every day as a true differentiator, and the convenient Costa Linda location. Repeat guests note they eat here 3-4 times during a single week’s stay. The tuna and fish sandwich are the most-recommended dishes.

Honest caveats: some reservation issues in the past — guests warn to confirm bookings the day before; service can be slow during peak times despite the team’s best efforts; pricing reflects beachfront premium. Tip: target the 4-6 PM happy hour for the complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
