About Linda’s Dutch Pancakes
Back in 2001, Linda opened the doors of a cozy Palm Beach restaurant with one big idea: bring the tradition of Dutch pancakes to paradise. Twenty-four-plus years later, it’s still family-run and feels like it. The current owner Stefan keeps the original recipe traditions while the kitchen turns out hundreds of pannenkoeken a morning.
If you’ve never had a Dutch pancake — it’s not an American pancake. Think more like a thin, dinner-plate-sized crepe-pancake hybrid, with sweet or savory ingredients cooked into the batter rather than placed on top. The signature: thin, slightly chewy, served with the classic Dutch syrup (“stroop”) on every table. The savory pancakes are often a meal on their own — bacon, ham, cheese, and mushrooms cooked right in.

Signature dishes & menu highlights
- Apple & Bacon Pancake — bacon strips and sliced apple cooked into the batter, the classic Dutch combination.
- Strawberries & Cream — fresh strawberries with whipped cream, the most popular sweet option.
- Bacon & Gouda — bacon strips with melted Dutch Gouda cheese, called out repeatedly by Dutch guests as “like grandma’s.”
- Apple & Raisin — sliced apple and raisins cooked in.
- Walnut & Brie with Honey — walnuts cooked into the pancake, topped with Brie and served with honey on the side.
- Tropical Fruit Pancake — fresh mango, papaya, and pineapple — the island favorite.
- Ham, Mushroom & Cheese — diced ham and mushrooms cooked in, topped with melted Gouda.
- Hawaiian — diced ham, melted Gouda, fresh pineapple.

What guests are saying
Reviews repeatedly praise the portion size (“the pancake you see in your dreams”), warm service (servers like Sandra and the long-tenured staff get named in many reviews), and the breezy terrace. Dutch guests specifically call it “the best pancakes outside of grandma’s” — a strong endorsement.
Honest caveats: can have 30-minute waits at peak breakfast times (no reservations); closes at 2 PM and on Sundays — plan accordingly; cash and credit accepted, but bring patience on busy days. Tip for first-timers: split a sweet and a savory pancake with someone — that’s the move.
