About La Belle Creole
It is open 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and closed Sunday, mostly as takeout. The dish everyone orders is the oxtail, described as seasoned to perfection and falling-apart tender; ribs and a rice that one reviewer calls magical come up too. Getting there
La Belle Creole is in the south of San Nicolas, at the far end of the island, about 25 to 30 minutes from Palm Beach. If you are staying on the hotel strip, a rental car is the easiest way to reach it and everything else on this side of the island; taxis add up fast at night.
