La Belle Creole publishes no menu anywhere online — the Google listing is unclaimed, with no website or ordering page behind it — and there is no printed menu to transcribe. The clearest guide to what comes out of the kitchen is the listing itself: Google’s own menu highlight is the oxtail with rice and peas, six of the seventeen reviews mention the oxtail and four the rice, and the sides that keep coming up in review photos and text are fried plantains and potato salad, with ribs appearing alongside the oxtail in recent visits.

Getting there
La Belle Creole is in the south of San Nicolas, at the far end of the island, about 25 to 30 minutes from Palm Beach. If you are staying on the hotel strip, a rental car is the easiest way to reach it and everything else on this side of the island; taxis add up fast at night.

Our verdict
Order the oxtail. A third of all the reviews name it unprompted, Google’s highlight photo for the kitchen is oxtail with rice and peas, and the fried plantains and potato salad beside it are what people go back for. This is a takeout counter, not a dining room, so treat it as the lunch stop on a San Nicolas day — murals in the morning, a box from Señora La Belle, and Baby Beach after; one recent reviewer stopped in exactly that way, on the way to Baby Beach. The long 8am-to-8pm day makes it easy to fit in Monday to Saturday, but it is closed on Sunday, so a Sunday mural walk needs another plan — Groteberg Snack up the road keeps Sunday-morning hours.
