Azzurro Ristorante Italiano is the beachfront Italian destination set on the deck of Playa Linda Beach Resort on Palm Beach — Gianni’s Group’s romantic-dinner showcase, serving authentic Italian dishes for over 15 years with tableside service of the signature Spaghetti al Formaggio Parmigiano (San Marzano spaghetti flambéed with whisky, coated in a Parmesan cheese wheel right at your table). Fresh seafood from a live aquarium. Burrata flown weekly from Italy. Tripadvisor 4.4 stars across 2,407+ reviews.

About Azzurro Ristorante Italiano

Azzurro is part of Gianni’s Group — the same family that runs Gianni’s, Amore Mio, Casa Tua Arawak, Daniel’s Steak, Bohemian, and Azia on Palm Beach. Open for over 15 years, Azzurro is the group’s most romantic concept: an open-air ocean-front dining room directly on the sand at Playa Linda Beach Resort, with seating for 120, an open kitchen so you can watch your dish prepared, and unobstructed sunset views over Palm Beach.

The vibe is elegant Italian beachfront — perfect for anniversaries, wedding rehearsal dinners, special-occasion proposals, and corporate events. Live music and ambient piano on selected evenings. Wedding and event planning available. Reservations essential — the dining room books out for sunset weeks ahead in high season.

What guests are saying

Reviews consistently praise the oceanfront sunset setting, the tableside cheese-wheel pasta show, the imported Italian burrata, and named servers like Adrian for excellent service. Multiple guests report visiting Azzurro every year of their Aruba trip — Gianni’s Group earns repeat-visit loyalty rare for a tourist-strip restaurant.

Honest caveats: premium prices and extra charges for items some consider staples; service can feel rushed when the dining room is full at sunset; some recent reviews flag inconsistent food quality — pasta cold or olive oil bitter on a bad night; they ask all guests to order at once to keep the kitchen flowing — fine but worth knowing. Worth it for the cheese wheel show alone.
