July and August — Summer Family Season

July and August bring American and Canadian families. Palm Beach is livelier with children’s programmes running at the major hotels. The water temperature reaches 82–84°F — the warmest of the year and ideal for snorkelling. Temperatures peak in August at up to 90°F (32°C), but the constant trade winds prevent it from feeling oppressive. Beach strategy: arrive before 10 AM and take a midday break during the hottest hours (11 AM–3 PM).
