The first few minutes are spent on your stomach getting used to the thrust. Then the instructor brings the power up gradually and you rise a foot or two out of the water. Most people are hovering steadily within ten minutes, because the trick is small ankle movements rather than strength.

You will fall in repeatedly at the start, which is the point: the water is warm, the landing is soft, and the session is long enough that the falls stop mattering.

The full price is $140.00 per person. You pay a 20% deposit of $28.00 online now to hold the booking, and the remaining $112.00 per person is paid at the beach on the day of your excursion. Tax is added at checkout. Because you are booking direct through One Happy Island rather than through a reseller, there is no booking fee stacked on top.

Irausquin Boulevard 83, Palm Beach, Aruba, and your confirmation email repeats the address along with what to look for when you arrive.

If you are staying on Palm Beach or Eagle Beach you are a short walk or a very quick taxi ride away. To fill out the rest of the day, the other watersports and boat trips all leave from the same stretch of sand.
