Mangrove Cafe publishes no menu online. The Google listing is unclaimed, with no website or ordering page attached, so the closest thing to a menu is the board on the cafe wall, which shows in the listing photos and lists six lines: coffee, cold drinks, fresh lemonade, cold juices, ice cream and sandwiches. Google’s own menu highlight for the cafe is the iced passion fruit juice, and the review keywords point the same way: across just fourteen reviews the lemonades come up four times, the passion fruit lemonade three and sandwiches three, and diners’ photos include a pressed ham sandwich on toasted bread. Treat it as the after-swim stop it is. The passion fruit lemonade is the safest first order — it is Google’s own highlight for this cafe and the thing reviewers keep naming — and the coffee has real fans, one calling it among the best they had on the island. Mind the clock: doors open at 10am and close at 4pm on weekdays, 3:30pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday, so this is a daytime stop, not a sunset one. A 4.9 rating across fourteen reviews is a small sample from a young place, but every signal in it points the same way. There is a restroom, which one reviewer singles out as a plus for a beach day, and dogs are allowed per the listing. If a sandwich is not enough after snorkelling, Sea View Take Away’s local lunch plates are a couple of minutes along the same road until 1:30pm.
