D'Smash BurgerHouse Aruba photo 1

D’Smash BurgerHouse is one of Aruba’s most exciting smash burger destinations — currently a weekend pop-up operation at the foot of Hooiberg Mountain Trail just outside Oranjestad. With a perfect 4.9-star Google rating and a small but dedicated following, this is the spot for travelers who want a juicy, properly executed smash burger paired with bacon jam, peanut sauce, and house-made smash sauce. Currently relocating to a permanent location.

About D’Smash BurgerHouse

D’Smash operates Friday and Saturday 7:00 PM to midnight and Sunday 6:00 to 9:00 PM (closed Monday-Thursday). Located at G292+4C2 on the Hooiberg Mountain Trail, this is intentionally off the beaten path — a destination spot rather than a casual walk-in. The kitchen specializes in smash burgers (thin, crispy-edged patties on the griddle) with creative toppings, fresh fries, and three signature house sauces (peanut, smash sauce, and rosada). Cash-friendly local operation. Worth the drive.

Signature dishes & menu highlights

The Bacon Jam Burger is the flavor-bomb signature — savory and sweet juices in every bite, perfectly executed medium-rare. The 4×4 is the maximalist play — four beef patties for serious appetites. The Loaded Fries are properly seasoned with generous portions. All three house sauces — peanut, smash sauce, and rosada — are worth trying with the fries. Service is friendly with the local family-style energy that makes pop-up restaurants special.
