Azia Restaurant & Lounge restaurant in Aruba

Azia Restaurant & Lounge is the upscale pan-Asian fusion destination on Palm Beach — Gianni’s Group’s bold concept that opened in 2015 in the former Confessions Club space, blending traditional dishes from China, India, Korea, and Japan with Caribbean flair. Ornate Asian decor anchored by a golden Buddha shipped from Indonesia and gilded in Colombia, a chic lounge bar, an outdoor Zen Garden, and one of the most polished dining experiences on the island.

About Azia Restaurant & Lounge

Azia opened in 2015 as part of Gianni’s Group — the same family that runs Gianni’s, Azzurro, Amore Mio, and Daniel’s Steak & Chop on Palm Beach. With the group already strong in Italian and steakhouse, they wanted to fill an obvious gap on the island: an upscale Asian restaurant. The location — formerly home to Confessions Club Aruba (2008-2015) — was reimagined into an elegant fusion experience.

The space holds up to 350 guests across multiple zones: the elegant main dining room with the golden Buddha centerpiece, the chic lounge bar with handcrafted cocktails, a 12-seat semi-private VIP table, and an outdoor Zen Garden perfect for groups, special functions, or just a quiet drink. Located at J.E. Irausquin Blvd 348, across from the Hilton. Free parking at “The Village Parking” behind the building, accessible near the “I ♡ Aruba” sign — or valet at sister restaurant Gianni’s.

What guests are saying

Reviews consistently call out the stunning atmosphere (“elegant Asian fusion meets vibrant Caribbean energy”), high-quality sushi and sashimi (“melts in your mouth”), and standout servers like Valeria, Nini, and Princess for personalized service and wine recommendations. Tripadvisor rating 4.7 across 2,829+ reviews. Personalized birthday touches get repeated mentions.

Honest caveats: portions are small for the price — this is upscale tapas-style; service can lag during peak times despite the team’s best efforts; reservations strongly recommended — wait times of 25+ minutes without one are common; limited menu compared to traditional Japanese-only or Chinese-only restaurants. Worth it for atmosphere and sushi quality.
