Omakase Japanese Sushi Bar brings the chef’s-choice tasting tradition to Aruba — order omakase and the chef sends out his evening’s selection course-by-course, building around what’s freshest and his recommendations rather than a fixed menu. Located off the resort strip, Omakase has built a small loyal following for proper Japanese technique applied to the freshest fish on the island.

About Omakase Japanese Sushi Bar
The Omakase concept (translated: I leave it up to you) is the centerpiece — sit at the counter, tell the chef your budget and any restrictions, and watch the meal unfold piece-by-piece. À la carte sushi and rolls are also available for diners who prefer to choose. The dining room is small and intimate, more sushi-bar than restaurant. The chef is hands-on, often the one greeting guests and walking through the night’s special items. Reservations strongly recommended given the limited counter seating.

Signature dishes & menu highlights
Order the Chef’s Omakase for the full experience — typically 8-12 courses depending on selection, ranging from light starters through nigiri sequences and finishing with a substantial maki or a hot plate. À la carte favorites: Toro Nigiri (when available), Spicy Tuna Roll, Salmon Sashimi, and the Vegetable Tempura. Sake selection is curated and well-priced. Beer and wine also available.
