Santos was founded by Stefan and Milca Santos (Santos is Milca’s last name) and joined the family of Dushi Hospitality Group restaurants. The first location at Casa del Mar Beach Resort on Eagle Beach quickly became a Bucuti-and-Tara crowd favorite — the kind of place where guests would walk over for long, leisurely breakfasts. Common themes: came every day of the trip, welcoming staff (Emeli, Stefan, and Milca all get name-checked frequently), fresh mint water served with every order, and excellent coffee quality across all locations. The almond croissants and matcha lattes have a near-cult following. Free off-street parking at most locations is a bonus.

Honest caveats: orders take time — everything is made to order; portion sizes can feel small for some sandwiches; tipping policy strict at some locations — let staff handle the tip jar exchange themselves; occasional product run-outs (bread for the bread bowl soup, etc.).
