Bohemian is the secret-garden French-Mediterranean restaurant tucked away on the corner of Barceló Resort on Palm Beach — opened in 2018 by the Nataf family (Casa Tua, Amore Mio, Azia), with co-owner Gregory Nataf running the show. Bohemian-style waiters in cool suspenders and berets, lounge music and rotating live entertainment, an outdoor secret-garden setting under string lights, and a wine cellar that imports 95% of its 30,000 annual bottles from a single vineyard in the South of France. Ranked #6 on USA Today’s Best Restaurants in Aruba list. 94% recommendation across 643+ Facebook reviews.
About Bohemian
Bohemian is the most ambitious concept yet from the Nataf family — owners of Casa Tua, Amore Mio, Azia, Daniel’s Steak, and others. Co-owner Gregory Nataf opened Bohemian in 2018 to fill a gap on Palm Beach: a true upscale French-Mediterranean experience with a unique outdoor garden setting. The location on the corner of Barceló Resort at J.E. Irausquin Blvd 83 is unmistakable: massive wooden door, lush trees, then the lush garden bar and dining area where you forget you’re on the strip.
The vibe is “South of France in summer” with a Caribbean twist. Berets and suspenders on the staff. Stylish warm interiors. A garden lit with hundreds of lights at night. Different vibes by night of the week:
- Wednesday: Rumba Gitana and Flamenco.
- Thursday: Live Violin.
- Friday & Saturday: Electro Lounge / House and Techno DJ — restaurant turns into a club after dinner.
- Sunday: Salsa.
Hours: Sunday-Thursday 5:30 PM to 12 AM, Friday-Saturday 5:30 PM to 1 AM. Casual Chic dress code. Reservations strongly recommended (+297 280 8448 or reservations@bohemianaruba.com).

What guests are saying
Reviews are overwhelmingly positive (94% recommend on Facebook, USA Today Top 10): the secret-garden ambiance, the octopus and tuna tartare appetizers, the paella and Tournedos Rossini, and the live music programming are the most-mentioned highlights. Multiple guests describe Bohemian as their favorite Aruba restaurant. The Friday/Saturday DJ-turn-into-club concept is unique on the island.
Honest caveats: can be loud — request tables further from the music if you want to converse; some dishes inconsistent per recent reviews (calamari can be tough, duck occasionally chewy); premium prices ($36-$59 mains, $49 sangria pitcher); reservation deposits required for parties of 9+ ($25 per person) and for special-date bookings. Worth it for the unique experience.
