Ricardo’s Restaurant & Bar is one of those Aruba restaurants that rewards anyone willing to venture a little further south of the main Palm Beach hotel strip. Located near the quieter Manchebo and Eagle Beach area, it combines solid local and international cuisine with a genuinely relaxed beachfront atmosphere that the big hotel restaurants can’t replicate.
The restaurant sits at the Aruba Beach Club Resort area — tables under palapas on the sand, live music on themed nights, and a menu that covers local Aruban dishes, fresh seafood, grilled meats, and international options that give every table something they’ll enjoy.
What to Order

The lobster bisque is a standout starter — one of the better versions on the island, consistently praised by guests. The ceviche is well-prepared and properly acidic. For mains, the catch of the day is reliably fresh, and the grilled meats — particularly the filet mignon — are worth ordering. The pumpkin soup is a local favourite worth trying if it’s on the menu.
Live music and themed nights add a lively energy that makes Ricardo’s particularly enjoyable for groups. The bar programme is strong — good cocktails, local beers, and staff who know their way around a rum punch.
The Setting

Palapa-covered tables, sand underfoot, and the calmer southern stretch of Aruba’s Caribbean coast as your view. Ricardo’s sits in a less-crowded part of the island where the beach is wider, the water is calmer, and the sunset shows unobstructed. It’s the right place for a long, relaxed evening with good food and cold drinks.
