Island Day Trip
A tiny uninhabited island 3 miles offshore with white sand, turquoise water, and almost no facilities. A genuine Caribbean escape 20 minutes from Palm Beach.
Klein Aruba means “Little Aruba” in Dutch. It is a small uninhabited island located about 3 miles off the southeastern coast of Aruba. Roughly 1 mile long, it has no permanent inhabitants, no hotels, no restaurants, and no infrastructure beyond a lighthouse at one end. What it does have is white sand, crystal-clear water, a healthy surrounding reef, and the rare feeling of being completely removed from the tourist circuit.
Snorkelling: The reef surrounding Klein Aruba is healthy and largely undisturbed. Fish density is higher here than on the main island’s more heavily visited spots. Most tours include equipment.
Beach time: White sand with barely anyone on it. Day trips typically allow 1 to 2 hours on the island.
Wildlife: Klein Aruba is home to a large iguana population and various seabird species. Ideal for birdwatchers.
Catamaran day trips: Several operators run full-day catamaran tours including Klein Aruba as a stop, combined with snorkelling, open bar, and lunch from Palm Beach marina. Browse Klein Aruba catamaran tours
Private charter: Charter a boat directly to Klein Aruba for a private experience. The most exclusive way to visit. Book a private boat charter
